KAMJZ is an architectural office led by it’s Principal Architect and CEO Maciej Jakub Zawadzki to pursue international competitions and commissions. Established in 2013 as strategic partnership between MJZ design group and Kuryłowicz & Associates, it combines a modern conceptual approach with more then 25 years of experience with built work in different scales and program, allowing to achieve in every aspect the best performance of created buildings and master plans.Challenges such as site conditions, budgets, schedules, codes, and politics become opportunities that can help to produce the most innovative solutions.
Maciej Jakub Zawadzki MJZ, acknowledged by the Wallpaper Magazine in the Graduate Directory, gained experience during his work in the best Polish and international architectural offices including Bjarke Ingels Group in Denmark and MVRDV in the Netherlands.He was responsible for the design of the award winning Air Traffic Control Tower in Łódź,Poland by SDA Architects and part of the innovative design team of the Waste Treatment Plant in Copenhagen,Denmark by BIG Architects.
In 2011 his project, Miami Pier Museum of Latin American Immigrants in Florida, was nominated for the prestigious Building of the Year Award in the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona. As a result of his previous experience he formed the design group MJZ in Warsaw. Kuryłowicz & Associates K&A is a renowned Polish architectural studio with offices in Warsaw and Wrocław. It consists of 85 employees: experienced architects, engineers, sustainable and structural consultants, who are present in all phases of each project. The portfolio of the company includes built work and a number of conceptual projects. They received numerous awards and were featured in various publications. In 2010 K&A was honored with Forbes Diamond Award for best managed companies.
