About the company
LD Seating started in 1993 as a small chair manufacturer in Boskovice, Czech Republic – a small town with a textile tradition. Today, LD Seating produces 400 chairs per day here with distribution worldwide. The incoming second generation of the family business continues to develop comfortable, ergonomic yet designer chairs for co-working centers, schools, medical facilities, hotels and private residences.

About the production
Fine-tuned by decades of experience, the manufacturing process combines state-of-the-art technology with honest hand craftsmanship. The team of seamstresses prides itself on millimetre precision; in the upholstery workshop, the chair cover is then stretched without a single crease. LD Seating fills the chairs with polyurethane foam themselves and also produces their own steel bases, inserts for shell constructions and other steel accessories.. In the powder coating shop, the design of the chairs is tuned according to the customers' wishes.

About the design
To ensure that the chairs meet the requirements of the most demanding customers, LD Seating collaborates with designers from all over the world. Collaborations with names such as Andreas Krob, Orlandini Design, Martin Foret, Martin Ballendat, Baldanzi & Novelli and Filip Streit have resulted in numerous awards. In 2022, for example, the Red Dot Award in the category Product Design 2022 – Home And Seating Furniture, the BigSEE Wood Design Award 2022 or the Czech Furniture of the Year 2022.
