All ideas need time.
Some need an entire decade to come to fruition. Over ten years passed from the first fleeting thought that ‘we need to do that better’ to the development of the first product. Since August 2011, however, businesswoman Stefanie Zabel has dedicated herself entirely to her pet project, lebenszubehoer, working with a hand-picked team of designers, product developers and lateral thinkers to meet one exacting requirement.

Every lebenszubehoer product is a masterpiece in and of itself, handcrafted with affectionate care using first-class materials. Enduring quality, aesthetics and practicality. A functional, visually appealing design and the responsible selection of environmentally friendly raw materials are prerequisites for the manufacture of each of our new creations, whether a flexibly combinable series or individual pieces.
Reinventing the wheel.
The inspiration for our products is drawn from our observations of everyday life: when all the wires around your desk cry out for organisation; when the range of birdhouses available fails to include a single tasteful model; when your domestic wine rack fails to immediately reveal how many bottles you have left of your favourite wine. Sometimes, new solutions are in great demand.
We develop these solutions on your behalf, creating items that are perhaps not yet indispensable, but soon will be.

During manufacture, we cooperate with selected Swiss factories who attribute the same high quality as us to the phrase ‘swiss made’ – not only in terms of selecting materials, but also in terms of the attention and precision required at each stage of production.
