Profile
Our agency, built on attentive, young and creative personalities, claims to listen to the actors, their expectations, their use of the places, the history of the sites, in order to make simple, creative and relevant projects emerge, adapted to the places in which they take place; "tailor-made" in short.
Our agency has solid experience in the contemporary lighting enhancement of public spaces with a high image impact, urban complexes and public parks. The company is characterised by a scenographic approach to space, creating urban wanderings, making the space legible, playing with the temporalities of the city and its uses to better support them.
As active members of ACE (the Association of Lighting Designers and Lighting Designers), les éclaireurs aim to create new lighting concepts and arts of light. Thanks to a European network, they hope to convey new lighting trends with an innovative look for all kinds of illumination.
les éclaireurs, an atypical profile
Our company is specialised in the lighting of remarkable buildings, contemporary buildings as well as museums, restaurants, luxury hotels, public buildings, offices such as the Carmignac Foundation in Porquerolles, the Fondazione Prada in Milan, the Garage Foundation in Moscow, the Galeries Lafayette Foundation in Paris, the Atoll in Angers, the Axel Springer campus in Berlin, etc.
Les éclaireurs integrates daylighting studies into museum and architectural projects: calculation of DA, uDA, average exposures of wall surfaces, UV calculations (specific cases with subcontractors), etc.
Les éclaireurs is also illustrated by the lighting of historic buildings such as the Palais Saint-Jean in Lyon, the Colonne de Juillet on the Place de la Bastille in Paris, the Hôtel des Invalides in Paris, the Basilique St Michel Archange and three churches in Menton as well as the lighting of the Fort du Bastion, etc....
We have capitalized on our extensive experience in contemporary architectural projects with a high level of attention to details and the simplicity of lighting effects. This is the case for cooperations with OMA architects, BIG architects, MVRDV architects.
Finally, as an office composed of engineers and artists, we are developing our networks and lighting management systems, programming our own dynamic lighting scenarios and have been building on a rare experience in this field for 10 years.
