Kim Le Roux and Margit Sichrovsky
LXSY Architekten is an architectural practice in Berlin founded in 2015 by Kim Le Roux and Margit Sichrovsky. Hailing from South Africa and Germany, they bring together differing perspectives on everyday life and the needs of society. This diversity of viewpoints is enhanced by the international LXSY Architekten team.
In 2021, Kim Le Roux and Margit Sichrovsky were appointed as members of the national architectural association, the BDA Berlin. The LXSY Architekten founders first met during their master's studies at the TU Berlin, where they worked towards a joint master's thesis on a township upgrading programme in Cape Town, setting them on track to found their own practice. Margit has been part of the "Sustainable Planning and Building" working group of the Berlin Chamber of Architects since 2022. LXSY Architekten have already won several awards for their projects.
