Mecanismo is the result of a combined obsession for investigation and innovation of new concepts, with the interest of using the adequate materials for execution. What drove the creation of the design studio was the interest and desire for the experimentation of new typologies and the curiosity to bring into existence the newest designs. The studio is founded in 2012 in Madrid by Marta Urtasun and Pedro Rica, architects and aspirants of design.
The studio is home to a team of young professionals, specialized in creating spaces, buildings and infrastructure, systems and products related to the field of design and architecture. Mecanismo has the ability to manage projects entailing all aspects of the design process as well as the different phases of the project and the delivery of the completed work.
