Be it high-quality chairs, tables, beds, or storage furniture, more has prided itself on reinterpreting modern classics since 1993. This year, the company founded by Bernhard Müller celebrates a special birthday.

For Bernhard Müller, it all started at 17: Well before studying architecture, that’s when he began drawing and making his first pieces of furniture. A few years later, upon moving to Hamburg, he took the decisive step of launching his own brand.

“We see ourselves as spatial architects,” says Müller, explaining the more design philosophy. “Our furniture should yield freedom for individual design.” more is distinguished by its clear ideas, surprising features and timeless shapes – not to mention durability and sustainability. Each item is designed and manufactured to accompany its owners over decades.

Only high-quality materials are used. These include slow-grown, certified woods, olive-based tanned leather that’s dyed through with soluble dyes, as well as fine wool fabrics and ecological upholstery materials.

To mark the brand’s 30th birthday, Bernhard Müller and the 14-strong team in the Hamburg showroom want one thing more than anything else: to remain young, curious, inspired and flexible. “Each collection is born of decades of experience, yet always represents a fascinating new beginning. This will never change.”
