Completed training as a mechanic (specializing in machine assembly) at Landis & Gyr in Zug, Switzerland; afterwards worked at Burnham Signs, an enameling company based in London.

1988
Advanced training at the Faenza Technical School for Ceramics in Italy, specializing in glazing research.

Since 1992
Independent industrial designer and interior designer, specializing in industrial design, signage, aviatic and furniture design.

1995
Cantonal Prize for the Advancement of Applied Arts in Zug.

1997
Opened '3Pol' (3 Poles), Showroom for furniture, textile design and jewelry in Zug. New furniture from Patrick Lindon are on display and guest designers are invited to exhibit their work.


1998
The T71 Modular Furniture System was developed, which happened to be the 71st product designed by Patrick Lindon.

2000
The T71 Modular Furniture System was purchased by the Swiss Federation for the Design Collection at the Museum of Design in Zurich; introduced during the 'Young Pioneers' podium discussions series at the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute in Zurich.

Since 2002
Founding member of 'etage' – New Swiss Makers of Furniture and Lighting.

Since 2002
Collaboration on the new design of the Swiss International Air Lines' cabin interiors, including seat design and color concept.

2007
Continued development on the T71 Modular Furniture System. New cabin interiors for Swiss. Travels regularly between Zug, Basel, London and Killkeel (Ireland).
