MORE ABOUT PEDRALI
Beauty, Tradition and Innovation
Established in 1963 in Palazzolo sull'Oglio, Pedrali is an Italian company that produces contemporary design furniture for contract and residential in the headquarters of Mornico al Serio (Bergamo), where the automated warehouse designed by architect Cino Zucchi is based, and in the wood division in Manzano (Udine).
The collection is the result of a rigorous and careful research that is realized in the creation of industrial design products made of metal, plastic material, wood as well as upholstery.
A quality-oriented manufacturing process, with scrupulous sourcing of certified raw materials, research and true passion for cutting-edge machinery, step by step planning in every phase, with the precision typical of a craftsman: it’s this blend of elements that has made Pedrali a world-class creator of contemporary industrial design. These are joined by a profitable collaboration with numerous designers that has allowed us to achieve, over the years, important awards such as the Compasso d'Oro ADI for the Frida chair. Following the cornerstones of a 100% made in Italy production philosophy, the company's activity, since the end of the '70s, is confronted with the international market through a distribution network that reaches over 100 countries.
2023 marks an important milestone for Pedrali: 60 years since the founding of the company that dates back to 1963.

Sustainability
To produce durable products, both from the aesthetic point of view and from the resistance one, is the first element that ensures sustainability. During the production process particular attention is paid to the materials used, raw material consumption, to the optimization of the resources, waste management and emissions control. Even from the design stage, Pedrali’s furnishings are devised to be disassembled and are manufactured using production processes that are aimed at limiting consumption and avoiding waste that would damage the eco-system. Pedrali’s products in plastic materials are made using high-quality raw materials and are recyclable and eco-compatible.
The high quality and respect for the environment therefore represent established practices, as demonstrated by the ISO 9001 certifications for the quality of business processes, ISO 14001 for a production based on a sustainable environmental policy and FSC ™ C114358 for the use of wood from certified forests. The products of the collection meet the European standards UNI-EN 16139: 2013 of resistance, durability and safety for seating.
In 2020 the company completed the study Corporate Carbon Footprint, that measures the total amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions caused, both directly or indirectly, by the activities carried out by an organization in a given time span.
