Anna Philipp
Profile
Our family and thus our architect’s office are deeply entrenched in craftsmanship. For more than 300 years, members of our family continuously practice carpenter by trade. This tradition shapes us. With all due ambition, our architecture has never been detached from craft. On the contrary: only in the harmonious combination of design and construction we see our requirements satisfied. According to its Greek root architecture means “first art” or “first craft”. For us, this exactly defines the meaning. It is original and carries a creative act in itself. It combines aesthetic and creative demands with manufacturing craft.
A Passion For Houses
There is nothing more significant to describe what our architect's office is about: houses - simple, yet complex. The archetype of all construction is our passion. That's what we stand for. On this we work holistically with a team of architects and engineers. Center of our designing is the human being. We understand architecture as a second skin, which must be tailored. At the same time it's essential to reflect the unique character of the location. The goal is a harmonious triad of mankind, nature and architecture.
The focus and specialisation on houses and villas is faced by a wide diversification in the range of services offered. We not only design the house but also like to take over the responsibility for the entire interior and exterior design. This holistic approach makes us unique. Our regular tasks include the design of furniture, the wellness areas (spa, sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, solarium, swimming pool, beauty, fitness), the energetic conception, the designer kitchen, landscaping and outdoor facility, lighting design, the home entertainment conception, safety features and equipment, or, last but not least, the issue of healthy living.
For the implementation of our design we have a range of proven, outstanding craftsmen and manufacturers at our disposal. Thus, we can also put German quality craft into effect in countries, where an appropriate infrastructure is not available. Quality made in Germany for global disposition.
