In 1986 Piega was founded by Leo Greiner and Kurt Scheuch. The extruded Aluminium cabinet as well as the ribbon technology are highlights of our products and are responsible for the excellent acoustic properties of PIEGA loudspeakers. The perfect sound – this is what PIEGA aspires to. However, even “lifestyle” plays an important role in the development each new model. After all, a loudspeaker is still in view even when it is not fulfilling its basic function of musical reproduction, and should therefore be as aesthetically pleasing as possible. From the pen of legendary designer Hannes Wettstein, the timeless elegance of PIEGA loudspeakers looks good in any living room, whether in the standard aluminum version or totally in black or white.
By building on our previous work, and maintaining our dedication to the best Swiss craftsmanship and drive for perfection, we have been able to achieve an extensive improvement in sound quality and still incorporate it into our slim and elegant aluminum cabinets. This all together results in an exciting musical experience with a naturalness to stir all the emotions.
