Profile
Studied at the Universidad Católica de Chile. Graduated with maximum distinction in 2000 with his thesis about converting the San Cristóbal hill within Santiago in a 700 hectares Metropolitan Park.
In 2001 establishes his practice focusing primarily on residential projects.
He also has taught at the Universidad Católica.
From 2003 on has worked as associated architect with Alejandro Aravena in local projects such as the Park for the Arts at the San Cristobal hill and Siamese Towers, and many others abroad including St’ Edwards University Residence Hall (Texas), Vitra Children Workshop (Germany), Ordos Project (China), Ocean Winery (Germany) and Etlin House (Brazil).
In association with ELEMENTAL, he has leaded social housing projects in Santiago, as well as urban/landscape such as and the Parque de la Infancia and the the pedestrian Promenade, both at the San Cristobal hill.
His work has been published worldwide several by magazines, including GA (Japan), Phaidon (UK), Area (Italy), The Plan (Italy) among others.
