Through cooperation with international designers Schmidinger Möbelbau managed to preserve the advantages of a small craft structure and at the same time act as a reliable partner for worldwide clients. The high design standards and the quality of execution have made the company one of the best-known furniture manufacturers in the Bregenzerwald region. Schmidinger Möbelbau's product range is characterised by three areas: "Tailor-made" projects are produced individually, while the "collection" comprises serial furniture from international designers. The third area "Sacral" is dedicated to the task of furnishing ritual spaces with reserved and yet sublime objects. Managing Director Wolfgang Schmidinger played a major role in the founding of Werkraum Bregenzerwald. The Werkraumhaus, designed by the Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, is today a unique place of cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship.
