Profile
We create places of identification and communication that respect the existing and generate new.
SOMAA is an international office for architecture and interior design. Since it was founded in 2007, the office has established itself with simple and convincing solutions in the areas of architecture, interior design and building in existing buildings. Typologically open, the work of the office is characterized by its complexity, the robust and sustainable conception and the authenticity of the materials. SOMAA’s field of work includes consulting, conception and planning in the areas of office & working environments, living & working, education & culture, hotel & gastronomy, as well as sales & presentation.
In cooperation on an equal footing, with responsible clients we want to create added value for society on the use that goes beyond the end in itself. With the motivation to make a relevant contribution to an environment worth living in and with the aim of making it accessible to all social classes, we explore the social, economic and cultural contexts with curiosity. In doing so, we respect cultural heritage just as much as we are open to catalytic innovation. Our work should not only be as ecologically sustainable as possible, but should also be created in the context of fair and long-term working relationships in addition to economic sustainability.
