About Studio BO
MORE ABOUT STUDIO BO
Profile:
Benmoussa Omar is the founding architect of the architecture studio STUDIO BO based in Casablanca. He is a graduate of the Special School of Architecture in Paris (ESA). He nurtured his influences through various localities (Paris, London, Rio de Janeiro, Casablanca), all imprinted with a very strong architectural and artistic character and history.
After being created 7 years ago, STUDIO BO is an architecture agency that wants to be multidisciplinary, eclectic.
Mainly focusing on service, public and cultural equipment, we turned to projects such as the 1337 coding school in Benguerir, the Kouribga agora, the Abidjan interurban station, but also the studio of the painter Abdelkebir Rabi', as well as rehabilitation in the historic center of Casablanca, and in the Kasbah of Tangier.
Our projects extend over several cities of the kingdom but also some African countries (Ivory Coast, Guana).
Having a great interest in the visual arts, Omar co-initiated an independent cultural collective INTERVAL which works and participates in the revitalization of the emerging artistic scene and the democratization of culture through various cultural actions with a strong social impact.
I talk about it because it is an element that daily nourishes my architectural practice.
