Profile
SUPERFUTUREDESIGN* is a sister concern of ASZarchitetti, founded by Andrea Sensoli with three partners Cecilia Morosi, Iacopo Mannelli and Andrea Rettori. The brand specializes in providing luxurious architectural designs to renowned clients in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and prides itself to be one of the best firms in the world for 3D visualization of architectural design.
The company has built world-famous residential and commercial properties, from state-of-the-art apartments worldwide, to the Program for sales points of Estra (the ultimate Italian Energy Authority); to the eco-friendly BETTair-house in Dubai, and many other beautifully cutting-edge projects.
The name Super Future Design depicts the company’s determination to go above and beyond – transcending consumer expectations, propelling way into the future.
Vision
The Company has the vision to leave a footprint all over the globe with award-winning architecture that can be interpreted as the best representation of the times we live in. It wants to leave behind a legacy that will create a bridge between traditions of the past and upcoming trends of the future. The architects and designers at SUPERFUTUREDESIGN* do this with an individualistic creative sense that makes use of a number of elements that help them to always find original solutions.
Being based in the cradle of World’s Renaissance and yet so sturdy projected into the future is not a contradiction to principal architect Andrea Sensoli: past and future are both abstract concepts that are left to be interpreted. Yet, the materialistic design will remain grounded in what can be objectively defined.
Highlighted by modern finishes and adorned with cultural elements; designs by SUPERFUTUREDESIGN* are a glance at what has been achieved and an insight into what we can become.
When it comes to style, the brains behind SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*, Andrea Sensoli and his partners, use their preferred types like eclecticism to attain a holistic approach that contains numerous aspects of design instead of just one. At the same time, they refrain from abiding by the current trend and motif, by taking the Avant-garde route which is more expressive of their forward-thinking artistic mindset.
Mission
Our mission is to create distinctive multi-cultural and multi-tasking workplace where ideas flourish from all over the globe and our ‘Studio’ is an example of such commitment. At the end of the day, we want to add value to the ground we work on. We look to add aesthetic appeal that goes beyond captivating the senses by adding it to the daily objects of one’s life.
Despite playing different roles, each member of the team contributes to the end result, a new design that’s different from the last. Experience aside, we owe it to our studio where an all-encompassing attitude is adopted because of the many types of tasks we do. Hence, we gave it the name ‘Studio Liquido’. To achieve our mission, it’s paramount that we never come to a standstill, and always keep learning, from one culture or another. By adapting to a single platform, we would risk losing our ingenious creativity, the most precious asset.
The world has a number of disciplines and traditions to teach us, and we are here to learn and grasp as much as we can. Rather than to build a business and make a profit, we aim to bring beauty to the surface with our designs.
Team
Our core team is lead by Andrea Sensoli who has over 20 years of experience. Starting from his initial projects in Florence Italy, followed by setting up his own shop and working for brands like YSL and Gucci, eventually building his very own group of companies under ASZ. Sensoli’s partner from Florence, Italy is Lacopo Mannelli, an inspired engineer who is technically strong and has a marvellous aesthetic sense as well. Iacopo Mannelli has been part of the office of architect Alessandro Luzzi in Florence and has been working at SFD*since 2007.
Cecilia Morosi, the third partner of the company, graduated from the faculty of Architecture in Florence and has been involved in international projects since the beginning of her career. Her first project was designing 78 villas in the Chengdu province, China. Andrea Rettori, a CGI guru with a background in architecture, has been working with SFD* since 2004 and provides valuable input in design, along with world-class 3D visualization and Virtual Installations.
