Biography
Takashige Yamashita, a qualified first class architect in Japan, is a president of Takashige Yamashita Office.
He was born in 1980 in Fukuoka, Japan. After receiving a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Tokai University, he obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture from Tokyo University of Arts. Yamashita started working for ‘Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa / SANAA’ in Tokyo upon graduation in 2005, where he has participated several domestic and international projects such as Louvre-Lens in France, Sydney New Art Gallery in Australia, etc.
He has been running his own practice as Takashige Yamashita Office since 2015. He is also a part-time lecturer at Tokai University.
