Tamir Addadi Architecture

Tamir Addadi Architecture is a multi-disciplinary design studio based in London. We take a holistic approach to our projects, aiming to integrate all the elements of a space into one significant whole, from the design of the furniture and lighting to the layout of the garden.

We give particular attention to the relationship between nature and the built environment. Our designs aim to provide a substantial experience of nature for those using the space, throughout their daily activities. We believe that good design is the outcome of attention to detail and careful consideration of given limitations. We have often found that external restrictions – such as a small space or a modest budget – become valuable elements in defining and refining our designs.

Biography
Tamir studied painting from 1990 to 1993, and in 1994 trained as a carpenter, after which he worked for several years designing and building commissioned pieces. Tamir co-founded SpaceCraft Architecture in 2000, whilst studying Architecture and Product Design at the Wizo Design academy, Haifa (BSc Architecture, 2001). Having moved to London in 2002, Tamir continued his studies at The London Metropolitan University, focusing on Urban Design (Professional Diploma in Architecture, 2006). Tamir founded Tamir Addadi Architecture in 2009.
