TeamFores founded by Serter Karataban in İstanbul with the aim of giving qualified architectural services. Since it has been established, it applied more than 1.000.000 sqm projects and applications. The showroom building that belongs to Kuyubaşı Fidanlığı was choosen one of the best 15 buildings built in private sector between years 2002-2007 by Arkitera Architecture Center authorities and was nominated to the Employer Award in 2007.
Same building entered the shortlist and was choosen one of the first 3 projects in "Architect’s First Built Design Competition" which contains most wellknown Turkish architects’ first buildings. In 2004 Serter Karataban designed an office project for SMS2 Timing Company in Belgium’s city of Gent as a guest architect.
In a competition in 2007 the restoration project of an old Greek House to be a buotique hotel, İ`zaz Hotel was choosen the best B&B hotel in İstanbul by the votes of clients via internet. Besides, TeamFores came second in a competition in Dubai in 2007 and came first in Qatar Science and Technology Park - Visitor Center International Architectural Project Competition in Doha, 2008.
Serter Karataban founded Studio Dinamo Interior Design Ltd. with Ceyda Atıcı and Cem Ercan in January 2010 and in April 2010 which had won the Most Relevant Fair Stand Design Competition award ranking 3rd in Turkey Build 2010 Exhibition, organised by YEM with the stand designed for Burak Aluminyum.
Serter Karataban conducted many professional seminars as an invited architect in schools such as İstanbul Technical University, Akdeniz University, Muğla University, Işık University and ISTEK Foundation Schools. In 15th March 2009, he gave a lecture about Turkey`s architectural heritage and the effects of climate over architecture to a group of students from Greece in İstanbul Euro Plaza Hotel. Many times, he took place as a guest jury member in competitions and diploma projects. Joined TeamFores in 2006, Dr. Nihat Gök is still educating the architects of future in MSGSÜ part time and taking place in Diploma Project Juries.
