Van Besouw Tapijt BV is located in Goirle, The Netherlands. Both production and sales are based there. Our collection is marketed under the Van Besouw brand. It is sold by specialist retailers and interior designers and decorators. Also, our products are often specified by architects for contract use.

History

Van Besouw never gives names to its carpets. Being headstrong again? With good reason. A customer may associate things with a name. Not necessarily positively. That’s why Van Besouw uses numbers for its carpets. In time, of course, these become names. Our best example is the 3801. Anyone who knows the Van Besouw collection knows this is the number (or name?) of our cotton design classic. However, the numbers are not chosen at random. The first figure indicates the pile material, the second stands for the production technique. The last two figures define a serial number.
