The Waco-group develops and produces translucent and light weight honeycomb structure- and insulation materials. The Waco-group consists of two companies, the Wacotech GmbH & Co. KG and the Wacosystems GmbH & Co. KG. The two companies share their headquarters in Herford, Germany. Founded in 1997 by the twin brothers Achim and Oliver Kehl, the company grew and developed over the years, being seen now as market leader in the field of translucent insulation materials (TWD).
Wacotech produces the translucent insulation material and distributes it under the trade name TIMax®. Our TIMax® product line is designed especially for the use in façade systems made from U-profiled glass. The translucent insulation TIMax GL combines light transmittance with good thermal insulation (U-value) of the facade and allows the use of daylight without blending, which is of great importance for sports buildings and also industrial buildings.
Wacosystems GmbH & Co. KG produces and distributes translucent design-panels and honeycomb-core materials under the brand names ViewPan® and Kandela®. The patented manufacturing process of our organic-looking honeycomb and the fabrication in Germany guarantee a unique quality product.
A focus is placed on design-oriented applications for the honeycomb and particularly for the honeycomb panels ViewPan® and Kandela®. ViewPan® is a translucent, bending-resistant and extremely light honeycomb panel with plastic surfaces made of acrylic (PMMA) or PET. Our award-winning panel impresses with its optical effects. The big variety of surface structures, colors, sizes and core-thicknesses make this product suitable for many applications. Typical applications are illuminated ceilings, exhibition booth, sliding doors, partition walls and translucent wall systems.
System solutions for the honeycomb panels have been developed. These are edge closing for the open honeycomb cell, furnishings, mounting elements and framing systems. Our range includes product-specific accessories. The goal is to provide standardized systems to the needs of our customers. One example is the partitioning system Kandela®.
For the future, the focus of the Waco-group will be the development of innovative products fitting to the needs of our customers. The basis of our company is a high quality standard and a good service even for ambitious projects.
