Nido | pillow qeztal, terracotta

The NIDO cushions are made from wool and feature crocheted macramé ornaments. The cushions are produced in a small manufactory located in the Andean Reserva Entreaguas. Each cushion is unique and created using a complex manual process. The three ornaments designed by Sebastian Herkner are based on pieces of jewellery from the Bogotá Gold Museum, the Museo del Oro. The products of the »ames sala« collection are mostly made from natural materials and produced in small, traditional manufactories. As each object is unique, there may be slight variations in size and colour.
