Jakiko Futon Bed

Bedframes from Andreas Janson, Designed by Christian Greve

Product description

The Jakiko futon bed is assembled without metal using plug-in connections. It can be assembled without tools and easily disassembled again. The multiplex bed is also ideal as a guest bed.

Freed from all superfluous items, you can sleep comfortably on airy futon and warm solid wood. The multiplex sides give the Jakiko bed stability. The stiffening struts made of solid ash harmonize in material and form. They complete the minimalist design of the Japanese futon bed.

The Japanese principle of Kanso reduces furnishings to minimalism and consistency. The Jakiko bed does not follow any fast-moving trends, but concentrates on the important and durable. Plain, simple and natural - and therefore sustainable and timelessly contemporary.

The bed is suitable for mattresses up to 1.40 meters wide. No additional slatted frame is required. Please note, however, that some futons require a continuous support surface such as tatami mats. Conventional mattresses can also be used. Delivery does not include mattress.
