Product description
Combining a lacquered steel shade with a white, chrome, or brass plated collar, this distinctive pendant light casts a gentle, diffuse illumination when in use. Providing both direct and indirect light, Pendant Light U336 was created by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon in 1948, who would go on to become famous for designing the Sydney Opera House.

Concept
In the designing of the pendant lights that form the Artek collection, great attention has been paid to meeting two criteria. Each light should be seen and must satisfy aesthetic demands, while the quality of light cast should be exceptional, bright-toned, and diffuse.
Artek’s pendant lights are united by their sculptural presence, which can be appreciated whether they are illuminated or not.
