Side table

My friend Carl Magnusson asked me to design a side table for the US market. I bent him one, made from one single piece of profiled aluminium sheet metal - with two different height storage compartments, for a great number of objects, books, CDs or glasses … The art in the production is to bend six metal sheet edges in such a way that the contouring is not affected. However, for America the liability risk would have become too big if a person had abused the table as a ladder or stool. Therefore, we have included it in the AUERBERG collection. And because it is so simple.
