Takeami stone
Paper weights from Auerberg
Product description
Concept
In the Japanese tradition, a cord-wrapped stone on the paths means that one should not go on. Japanese artist Hachiro Kosuga has taken up this tradition and has interpreted it anew. His artistic, bamboo braided Takeami stones are suited not only as a paperweight. A Takeami stone on top of a laptop could signalise in the midst of a stressful day: »Enough for today, time to rest!« This beautiful object was chosen for AUERBERG by the German-based artist and curator Miki Shimokawa in Kyoto, by artist Hachiro Kosuga.
