The Painted Plains collection utilizes whole cowhides and bold graphics to create a modern juxtaposition between material and pattern. Each rug is made from durable full grain veg-tanned leather which beautifully deepens in color over time. The patterns are hand-painted in Brooklyn using a water based dye that penetrates into the hide for long lasting wear. Every rug will have a naturally unique outline shape with slight marks and color variations from representative photos.

Don't let their beauty fool you, these rugs are tough and durable. They are meant to be stepped on, not over. As a general rule of thumb, treat them as you would a leather couch. In case of spills, quickly absorb excess liquid and wipe clean with a soft cloth. Do not heat, let air dry. These rugs are meant to age beautifully and truly get better looking the more you use it.
