Concept

Building is a new series of acoustic easy chairs designed by Sami Kallio. The chair cosists of upholstered elements that are stacked and locked togther by a screw at the top, you can build different configurations from the same components, hence the name Buliding. Building is full upholstered on all sides and absorbs disturbing sound in the room as well as for the person sitting in it. The unique construction with the buildable upholstered parts gives the building it´s curved back, unusual among acoustic furniture.
