Concept
X-Line was designed 1977 by Architect MDD Niels Jorgen Haugesen. The chair very quickly acclaimed status as a furniture classic.
The X-Line chair made from 8mm steel rod and perforated steel plate is a minimum construction both in terms of materials and manufacturing.The chair itself is almost a diagram of the forces that work in it. A visible logic that adds to the chair’s identity and aesthetic form.The chair comes in chrome or powder coated in several colours.The chair is stackable. Each chair adds only 15 mm to the stack. The chair is not flamable. Stacks up to 40 pcs. on the trolley. A linking bracket for X-Line is also available.
