Fisher Island, a private island off the coast of Miami Beach known for its lush, serene ambiance is the inspiration behind Boffi’s newest bathtub, debuting during the April Milan Design Week 2015. The exclusive resort and residential community is geared towards clientele who are accustomed to luxury, and the elegantly designed tub is no exception.
The first U.S. property to feature the high-end tub is Fisher Island’s newest development, which begins with Palazzo Del Sol, a "velvet rope" reserve for the next wave of Fisher Island owners, and the first new construction on the famed island in seven years.
Piero Lissoni, Boffi’s art director and designer, inspired by Fisher Island’s sense of exclusivity, modeled the eponymous tub to pay tribute to classic luxury and modern sensibilities. The resulting piece flawlessly compliments the building’s contemporary style with clean lines and understated elegance.
The Fisher Island Boffi tub will be available for purchase at Boffi Showrooms worldwide in 2015 for those wishing to emulate the lifestyle that will be enjoyed at the 47 residences of Palazzo Del Sol, whose owners will be the first to indulge in the new tub.
The boutique luxury development, designed to turn the conventional “outside in” approach on its head, not only ensures a polished sophistication of interior spaces but also aims to reflect those details in exterior settings. With lush grounds and unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean, South Beach, Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami, Palazzo Del Sol offers an unparalleled privileged lifestyle for the global elite who choose to make Miami one of their homes.
