The Bombay deck recliner
Sun loungers from Bombay Atelier, Designed by Farzin Adenwalla
Product description
Concept
The Bombay Deck, the first piece from Bombay Atelier is a recliner, lounger and bench all in one. The sleek tapered lines of this chair blend well into any surrounding, with the cane surface a nod to the traditional craft of cane weaving. Each piece is handcrafted by 12 craftsmen, using detailed timber joints and custom made stainless steel fittings. Five notches in the wood allow the backrest to be adjusted to recline in any chosen position, and when closed, three people can easily sit on it as a bench. This piece can be used indoors and outdoors as the teakwood and cane have both been given a high grade Polyurethane coating suitable for outdoor use.
