hammersvik
Side tables from Brühl, Designed by Kati Meyer-Brühl
Product description
Nature’s messenger: hammersvik is an oasis of calm and also a sustainable and decorative element. Massive beech tree trunks, with the typical cracks that result from the drying process, have been cut into slices, debarked, planed and sanded, then whitewashed. Each slice rests on six slender beech legs that taper towards the end. The table goes well with rural as well as urban environments.
Concept
A messenger from nature: The occasional table hammersvik is a decorative – and sustainable – addition to brühl’s sofas and armchairs. The natural design makes it quite special, and it looks as at home in an urban loft as it does in a charming summerhouse. hammersvik is made from beech tree trunks with the characteristic cracks that are the result of the drying process. They are cut into thick slices, debarked, planed smooth and then oiled The tabletop rests on graceful, tapered beech legs.
