Egg 40 pendant

When Gunnel designed the EGG, she wanted to create a lamp that was friendly and would give both general light and directed light without blinding. Of course it also had to be a timeless design, and allow easy cleaning and change of bulbs. She was inspired by the classical egg shape, by nature a strong shape, but developed a design that is open underneath to be suit her requirements. The three bulbs in EGG40 (shade height 40cm, max 3*75W) gives good, glare-free light through the mouth blown matte opaque glass, while at the same time a bulb can give directed light downwards.
The simple, elegant shape suits well in most environments.

The EGG family also includes a 13cm high shade that comes as a pendant or table light.
