Concept

In Glasgow silversmith and designer David Taylor lifts the bulb to be the focal center of the lamp. It’s minimal form acts both as shade and setting when the light source is presented in much the same way as the center stone in a diamond ring. The result is a strict and elegant table lamp made of anodised aluminium.

Glasgow received the ELLE INTERIOR DESIGN AWARD in 2006.
