Fiocco
Armchairs from Busnelli, Designed by Gianni Pareschi
Product description
A must of design born in 1970 from Gianni Pareschi’s daring creativity. A unique product, deservedly displayed at the permanent exhibition of the New York’s Museum of Modern Art – MoMA, next to other objects that have marked the history of design. Fiocco took shape during the period of Radical Design. On the one hand, it is ironic and eccentric in the language and deliberately out-of-scale in the forms, on the other, it is a product highly innovative in the use of the materials. A clear provocation underlies its design concept, i.e. covering a simple supporting frame in curved metal tube with an elastic fabric that forms the seat, which models itself around the body of whoever sits on it, to then return to its original shape. A perfect synthesis of simplicity, originality and technology that confer Fiocco an absolute iconic design status.
