Product description

Forest is the simplest of Kathryn’s designs – a row of trees. You can see through those at the front to those at the back, creating a 3D effect. The forest moves as you walk past it! The structure is chromed and the cable (which does not go through the glass) is clear. The standard shade colours are Gunmetal and Silver Birch.

Concept

The English Crystal Collection is made by Dartington Crystal, almost the only remaining factory-scale producer of hand-made crystal and glass in the UK. The designer is Kathryn M. Holford, one of England’s finest glass artists. We asked Kathryn for designs that would show how effective crystal can be, even if it is not cut in the traditional lines and criss-crosses. So she created three elegant, airy, informal, patterns based on nature.
