JULI 09 - design: Today, Cappellini and the Austrian designer Werner Aisslinger introduce a new image for the Juli small armchair. The ’09 version of Juli is mounted on a new die-cast aluminium base, available with 4 spokes with feet and 5 swivelling polished or chromed castors. The traditional models in solid polyurethane are combined with a new version completely upholstered in a selection of fabrics, leather and extra leather from the collection.

Juli Jubilee
The armchair by Werner Aisslinger comes back in a limited edition and with a new name: Juli Jubilee. Main character of the project is needle punching, an ancient craft technique allowing a very accurate pattern reproduction and striking shade effects. In this case, the canvas for the decorative element is provided by the upholstery leather layer, manufactured with over 100.000 stitches by four machines that were built in collaboration with needle punching experts to guarantee the same accuracy of a handmade embroidery. Juli Jubilee is available in Flower and Dots Small variants, as well as Dots Big versions in which velvet and embroidery technique define the decorative pattern. Each article in the collection is available in only 33 pieces.
