7 Fauteuil Tournant, durable
Chairs from Cassina, Designed by Charlotte Perriand
Product description
Concept
An icon with an aptitude for versatility and functionality, designed in 1927 by Charlotte Perriand for her Paris atelier in Place Saint-Sulpice. The design was first exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1928 and then at the Salon d'Automne in 1929, and is now part of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® Collection.
With sustainability in mind, the swivel armchair is made with circular materials. The innovative construction of the cushions introduces the use of recycled PET wadding and, for the foam parts, employs polyurethane with a percentage of polyols derived from biological sources.
Since 2016, the armchair has undergone a major structural update that led to its being awarded Catas certifications.
