Concept
The Equo bar stool was developed for Caussa by the German designer Andreas Kowalewski and stands for flexible and comfortable seating as well as a unique design language. Due to its low weight, stability and elegant appearance, the Equo bar chair is ideal for modern gastronomy, fine restaurants and hotel bars as well as for private use. The basic construction made of steel tubes offers two different heights for the feet, ideal for different heights and sitting positions, although it is not height adjustable. Inspired by stones, which are naturally sanded by the water of a river, the comfortable and softly shaped seat is made of solid ash wood (available in black or natural) with precision and state-of-the-art computer-controlled machines and is finished by hand. The frame of the bar stool is available in black and red. Available in a variety of materials and colours. The seat can be upholstered in solid wood or - according to customer requirements - with fabric or leather.
