Concept
The design of the Wedge Table originated from the idea of designer Andreas Kowalewski to create a three-dimensional table and stool construction made of flat wooden elements. The three interlocking legs create a solid structure and define the characteristic aesthetics of the side table. The spread position and the tapered legs concentrate the static tensions and counteract the tilting tendency of the table. The Wedge Table is certainly one of the most famous designs of recent times and is a recurrent theme in teaching and many well-known interior magazines. The side table is made of wood and is very stable, so that it can also be used as a stool for sitting for a short time. The Wedge Table is available in white, red and with ash veneer.
