Altair Sofa System

The aesthetic idea is rooted in the modern design of the 60s, but, at the same time, it is a new, contemporary take on structural thinking about construction, functionality and upholstery solutions and customization, with accessories that add value to a traditional seating system.
The softly-led lines of the cushions create a friendly and welcoming embrace. The orderly rhythm of the seat and backrest cushion shape, along with precisely deployed details, indicate the stronger personality of the product and its refined look in a space. The light silhouette is emphasized by the subtle, yet expressive, metal legs. The coherence, modularity and rationality of the whole structure, as well as the added accessories, mutually emerge from the construction and the way it is developed.
This versatile sofa system allows for the creation of comfortable environments. The sofas can be placed in private homes and public spaces, waiting and reception areas, hotel and business lounges. The cohesive, systematic design of the Altair helps to realize the full benefit of its construction. The wide typology offers open-sided, long structures, corner sections and free-standing pieces. The accessories include a side table and corner table. When added, these make the Altair a perfect piece in corridors, waiting areas, or wherever extra surface is needed.
The metal parts can be powder-coated in any colour from the RAL palette and Comforty’s sand structure Sahara finishing collection. Combinations of the upholstery textiles are also available.
Powder-coated tables made of steel are available with veneered tabletops in the colours from Comforty veneer collection, marbles and Polaris laminates. USB ports are available for one or both sides of the armchair and sofa.
