A mile stone in the company portfolio, the Anvil modular storage unit system is designed by Krystian Kowalski. A perfect balance of functionality and creativity, this light piece takes the Anvil collection to a new dimension. Beginning with the side table that was shown at Salone del Mobile 2015, the Anvil develops into a more complex, functional furniture system with a consistent aesthetic, yet the broader functionality of modular storage and low tables. The use of recurring construction elements and the reduction of superfluous detail makes this modular system easy to assemble, with just a few modules required to build any set. It can be extended to any length and height and optionally combined with back panels to add extra functionality and colour. With wall, floor and the ceiling fixings, Anvil shelves can be freestanding, space-dividing or placed against a wall. Powder-coated steel in any colour from the RAL palette can be combined with oak veneer shelves available in various colours from the Comforty veneer collection, or with MDF shelves available in the RAL colour palette range. The MDF back panels are also available in the RAL colour palette range, or in oak veneer available in various colours from the Comforty veneer collection. Technical notes: the back panels cannot be joined vertically within a set (one underneath another); this means they can only be positioned horizontally with each other The set includes adjustable feet for level regulation. Each set can be fixed to the wall, the floor and the ceiling.

Use: modular storage unit system for domestic and office spaces

Construction: powder coated steel uprights with hexagonal section legs, horizontal steel connectors with rectangular section; available in the colours from the RAL sampler and Comforty Sahara finishing collection, copper, pearl brass and rust powder coatings.

Base: plastic rotating feet

Shelves: two finishing variants available:
– veneered: the shelves made of veneered MDF board in the colours and finishing palette from the Comoforty veneer collection.
– varnished semi-matt: MDF board varnished in the colours from the RAL palette
– varnished matt; MDF board varnished in the colours from the RAL palette with the quartz pieces

Back panels:
– veneered: the shelves made of veneered MDF board in the colours and finishing palette from the Comoforty veneer collection – varnished semi-matt: MDF board varnished in the colours from the RAL palette
– arnished matt: MDF board varnished in the colours from the RAL palette with the quartz pieces

Additional technical information:
– the basic length of the modules is 112 cm. It can be customized ex. 60, 80, 90 cm – the detailed drawing is required; please contact the customer service for support and more information
– the units of height above 258 cm can be custom made – the detailed drawing is required; please contact the customer service for support and more information
– all the bottom modules are equipped with the plastic rotating feets, helping to level the structure
– the Anvil system can be fixed to the wall, floor and to the ceiling (if needed); fixing wholes are standard ø 5 mm
– the back panels cannot be joined vertically within a set (one underneath another)
– the assembly scheme and instruction added to the set
– packaging: the storage units are flat packed

Additional order information:
– When configuring the selected modules with the back panels, please mark in the order form the exact module that the back panel will be assembled with as well as finishing veneer or the RAL colour
– When configuring the selected modules with the back panels, please treat the adjacent shelves as lower shelf for the back panel and upper shelf for the back panel and mark properly in the order separately the total number of lower shelves for the back panel, upper shelves for the back panel, and shelves (non-adjacent) with the finishing selected and the total number of shelves that do not adjacent to the back panel. The total sum of the shelves in the selected configuration must include all types of shelves.
