Japanese oak – from the northern island of Hokkaido – is the material starting point for award-winning Finnish designer Mikko Halonen’s latest collaboration with Conde House – the Korento Armchair.

With the backrest, armrests and legs articulated as one continuous, flowing element, it presents a harmonious visual proposition that is matched by the level of comfort it provides. Its clever construction means that the seat element appears delicately balanced on the chair’s frame.

This is a strongly architectural design that’s designed and built to stand the test of time.
