Aima Armchair
Chairs from CondeHouse, Designed by Nicolas Gwenael
Product description
Designed by world renown designer Gwenael Nicolas, a dinning chair that stands out and immediately brings out people's curiosity. In the design, well-expressed is one of the Japanese aesthetics–the imperfect beauty. Available in Japanese Ash, attractive by the iconic frame and backrest shape, fitting well in both Eastern and Western scenarios.
Concept
AIMA stands for gap or interval in Japanese. You can notice that there is a gap on the armrest.
When designing a product, Gwenael Nicolas intends to not only design the product, but to explore and possibly create a new experience or culture. AIMA is a chair that is beyond culture and boundaries, and is a product created by curiosity.
The most interesting point of the chair is that there is a gap in between the armrest. AIMA has strong characteristics on both front and back, and is designed to be used for long hours of sitting.
