Concept
AIMA stands for gap or interval in Japanese. You can notice that there is a gap on the armrest.
When designing a product, Gwenael Nicolas intends to not only design the product, but to explore and possibly create a new experience or culture. AIMA is a chair that is beyond culture and boundaries, and is a product created by curiosity.
The most interesting point of the chair is that there is a gap in between the armrest. AIMA has strong characteristics on both front and back, and is designed to be used for long hours of sitting.
