Nebula Grande Plain
Suspended lights from Costantini, Designed by Mirei Monticelli
Product description
Providing soft light in an organic and unique design, the Nebula Lamp draws its inspiration from the interstellar clouds of dust and gas. Entirely handcrafted of Banaca (banana-abaca), a fiber from the Philippines woven by a community of weavers in the province of Bicol, the voluminous flowing shape is created by hand and can be remodeled according to one's liking and style thanks to its pliant quality. The Nebula lamp received a special mention from the jury at Salone Satellite during Milan Design Week 2019. This piece the newest variation of the award-winning design debuted at Salone Satellite in Milan and is currently in stock and available in either natural color or hand-painted. Custom sizing is available. Costantini is thrilled to announce US representation of Italian-based STUDIO MIREI. About Studio Mirei Mirei is a Milan-based multidisciplinary designer who started her career in her birth place, the Philippines. Working from her roots has exposed her to the world of traditional manufacturing and production of furniture, where everything is made by hand. This environment exposed her to the beautiful world of artisan crafts, but then gave her the yearning to explore state-of-the-art techniques that come from the western world. Graduating from Politecnico di Milano in 2017 with a degree in Design and Engineering has given her more experience in the technical point of view. Her work spans product design, interior design, creative consultancy and art direction. Dimensions:
