Elle | Modular Seating

Designer Cory Grosser took inspiration for the Elle Collection from the skateparks that are ubiquitous in Southern California. What he saw was a Òseries of fluid lines that connect deformed and articulated planes,Ó elements that could Ògive static objects motion and energy. Softening the geometry makes the shapes friendly and approachable, Grosser says, since Òwe donÕt have any right angles on our bodies; there are never any hard edges. The modular seating, lounge chairs and ottomans, benches, and occasional tables provide many compositional opportunities, creating environments that feel young but also look elegant.
