In that spirit, the Munich chairs straightforward rounded wood back and simple upholstered cushion provide welcome function without ornamentation. A hard maple frame made with mortise-and-tenon construction ensures lasting strength.

Side chair featuring an upholstered seat and a rounded wood back. The frame is hard maple, mortise-and-tenon and dowel construction, with corner blocking reinforcing legs and rails. Legs have nylon glides. The seat is 2 thick multi-density polyurethane foam wrapped in Dacron over webbing that is stretched over a hardwood plywood frame. Catalyzed lacquer finish in all Cumberland Maple finishes. Also available in an armless version.
