The Archos wall lamp is inspired by the wind filling the sail on a sailboat, creating a soft curve that gives the impression of motion and the infinity of the ocean. In the design, Thomas Darø repeats the shape to create a soft, light and inviting look. The extruded and cut aluminum shade will hint at the soft curves from all angles, resembling the wind filling the sail. The exterior matte finish provides a pleasing contrast to the reflective silver on the inside of the shade, like the sun reflecting on the sea.
The Archos wall lamp is elegant, durable and easy to mount. The flexible mounting plate allows for running the cable straight into the wall or onto the wall. The Archos is well suited for placement next to a flat-screen TV, beside a sofa or bed, or as elegant wall lighting in hallways.
