Butterfly Revival col. 002
Drapery fabrics from Dedar
Product description
Concept
An extremely rich jacquard, lampas which draws inspiration from the floral and romantic world. Like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, an old lampas is revived giving rise to unique emotions. A definite modern interpretation, with colour effects enhanced by the large number of weft insertions: 130 per cm. The white and black fil-à-fil warp highlights the play of darkness of the design on two levels: one is lighter and associated with the background, almost imperceptible, the other is more pronounced where the weft is all too clear just like the old shed textiles. Ramage and butterflies evoke Japonism style, where, in reality, the kimonos represent, the direct source of inspiration as do Japanese prints, with their great attention to detail, however the personality of this textile, ensure, it undoubtedly presents a completely modern style. Used for curtains or to serve decorative purposes. Sold by half repeat. It is advisable to use a delicates laundry bag when washing. No CFA available.
